The Abaya Abir is a statement oversized abaya defined by its generous volume and flowing silhouette. Its wide, gathered cut falls loosely from the chest, creating plenty of fullness through the body for full modest coverage without following the figure.

The layered flounce sleeves are the signature feature of the design. Multiple layers create volume through the arms, while elasticated cuffs gather the sleeves neatly at the wrists. Soft gathering across the chest adds to the fullness of the abaya and gives the fabric its distinctive flowing drape.

Crafted from soft and lightweight Medina fabric, the Abaya Abir is comfortable to wear despite its generous proportions. The round neckline fastens discreetly with a button at the back, while practical side pockets are incorporated into the wide silhouette.

With four different lengths available, the Abaya Abir can be selected according to height while retaining its characteristic oversized fit. Pair it with a long hijab or khimar for a full-coverage modest outfit that keeps the focus on the abaya’s voluminous shape and statement sleeves.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS

Size 1: 135 cm length – recommended for heights up to 5’1″ (155 cm).
Size 2: 140 cm length – recommended for heights up to 5’5″ (165 cm).
Size 3: 145 cm length – recommended for heights up to 5’7″ (170 cm).
Size 4: 150 cm length – recommended for heights up to 5’9″ (175 cm).
Model: 5’6″ (168 cm), wearing Size 3.

Washing: You can wash by machine or by hand (recommended). The washing temperature should not exceed 30°C.

Drying: Dry it as much as possible, avoid the tumble dryer. If you have washed your abaya by hand, gently wring out the excess water before hanging it up to dry.

Ironing: It is best to steam iron your abaya at a low temperature, as this is gentler on the fabric. If you prefer to iron, use a low temperature and iron the abaya inside out.

Recommendation on reception: The conditions of storage and shipping can wrinkle the abayas. It is recommended to steam iron them before putting them on.
