Button Up Poncho

Layered over an abaya or long dress, the Button Up Poncho is a warm piece of modest outerwear designed for autumn and winter. Its oversized cape silhouette falls loosely over the body, combining generous coverage with an easy outer layer for colder days.

The wide, flowing cut features open sides instead of traditional sleeves, allowing comfortable layering without restricting movement. A longer back hem adds further coverage, while the shorter front keeps the silhouette balanced and practical for everyday wear.

Made from thick, soft 100% polyester, the poncho provides a substantial layer for cooler weather. Five buttons run down the front, complemented by two large rounded patch pockets at the hips. The layered shirt collar adds structure around the neckline and can be fastened at the neck for additional warmth and coverage.

Its loose oversized fit makes it easy to style over an abaya, maxi dress or other modest layers throughout the colder months. Shown with our Abaya Souhaila, sold separately.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS

• Front length: 80 cm.
• Back length: 100 cm.
• Model height: 5’5″ (165 cm).
• Composition: 100% polyester.

Washing: You can wash by machine or by hand (recommended). The washing temperature should not exceed 30°C.

Drying: Dry it as much as possible, avoid the tumble dryer. If you have washed your abaya by hand, gently wring out the excess water before hanging it up to dry.

Ironing: It is best to steam iron your abaya at a low temperature, as this is gentler on the fabric. If you prefer to iron, use a low temperature and iron the abaya inside out.

Recommendation on reception: The conditions of storage and shipping can wrinkle the abayas. It is recommended to steam iron them before putting them on.
